as the toss goes up take your balancing split step

on the quick pickup get the back knee to the ground

get that early read and reaction

even getting in the air stay core balanced

on the return some players like to have a uneven start

just before the serve is hit –split to balance on the return

on the short ball step up taking time away from from the opponent
