Understanding Tennis

on the serve –elbow up–racquet bottom label up–eyes up

on the volley angle in on the wide shot

on forehand rotation keep the other hand on the racquet 

eyes park – head slotted all the way in

on the jam volley pull the step in leg in and away

run with racquet preparation

after the bounce watch the under gather  

hit the run around forehand

on the quick pick up seal the ground

on the volley racquet in front of you —racquet head above the wrist

keep the non hitting arm in to prevent rotating too soon

get the racquet tip pointing to the ground

early preparation let’s you attack the bounce 

hold the tossing arm up a beat and sight the toss through the tossing hand 

on the toss lean in to get the ball in front of you
